Cages are important symbols to MK Ultra because it symbolizes the slavery of a mind control victim. They may seem to have this great life, but they are slaves both physically and mentally. A gilded cage (thin layer of gold painted over the cage) means that it appears that the person is living in luxury, but without freedom.
Notice how most of these are the same people that are pushing most of the other mind control symbolism.

Why do we have to assume MK ultra in all this? Many of us feel caged in someway and artists convey their feelings symbolically. Where it may also be symbolism of mind control is doesn't equal it every time.

It is so prevalent in music videos etc. that it would be foolish to not consider that it does deal with MK Ultra and other forms of mind control techniques. Sure the artists could be feeling trapped but come on it is done over and over and over again. There are many other symbols that consistently show up other than cages as well. Researching this will definitely be an eye opener.
